This hybrid date spontaneously appeared during the 1920's in the early date farming days of Phoenix. Smaller, sweeter, with a thinner skin than Medjool Dates, Black Sphinx Dates are grown mostly in Arizona, primarily in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. We are proud to offer Black Sphinx Dates for the past 60 years. In fact, we were named after this local delicacy when founded back in the 1950's!
